Bajaj Boxer launched at Rs 42,000

Bajaj Auto has released its much awaited utility bike Bajaj Boxer in India again with a improved 150cc engine today. The Bajaj Boxer 150cc price in India is set Rs 42,000. This is a multi-purpose bike as it can be used as a carrier for goods and fun riding as well. This new Bajaj bike will have fight with TVS MAX 4R in the Indian market.




The Bajaj Boxer is marketed as SUV on two-wheelers and targeted on rural customers who use to put on heavy loads on their bikes. It is to be known that at this time, a 100cc Hero Honda bike comes at around Rs 42,000 and the new Bajaj Boxer comes at the same price tag. And now the rural customers have one better choice in the form of Bajaj Boxer.





On the other hand, TVS MAX 4R which is a 110cc bike comes under Rs 40,000. In this case, Bajaj Boxer has an edge over the TVS utility bike. The Boxer is designed with much attention than the TVS MAX, people will find good choise between these two bikes. More engine cc, good price, electric start and better ground clearance, wheelbase are some of its comparatively good features. The new Bajaj Boxer gets bigger tyres, broader seat, powerful headlights, larger frame, stronger suspensions and bigger motor.

The Bajaj Boxer owns a 4 stroke, single cylinder, SOHC, 144.8cc engine that gives top power of 12.01 PS at 7500 rpm and top torque of 12.26 NM at 5000 rpm. The bike has 4 speed manual gears and supports kick and self start ignition. The front suspesion of the bike is of 125 mm fork travel telescopic, and rear one is 100mm wheel travel SNS type. The two-wheeler comes with 130mm both side drum brakes. The machine features 17 inch rim with multi-spoke design. The new Bajaj bike comes with 11 litres of fuel tank with reserve capacity of 2.5 litres. As far as bike's overall dimensions are concerned, it measures 2016mm of length, 740mm width and 1055mm of height. It has 1285mm of wheelbase and 190mm of ground clearance.
