Yamaha Motors launches New Yamaha R15

Yamaha Motors launched upgraded bike in India today. This facelifted bike is New Yamaha R15. The new avatar of the Yamaha motorcycle comes with huge changes but all are cosmetic related. In spite of the that the company has announced Yamaha R15 price in India at Rs 1.07 lakh that is ex-showroom price only. When it comes to on-road price, it will worth Rs 1.20 lakh. Ummph!!!

Now lets check out the additional changes and fitments in the New Yamaha R15. The major change what the bike lovers were expecting is its bigger tyres and the company used fatter tyres in the bike. Big relief to customers. The rear view of the Yamaha motorcycle now wears altogether different looks with LED tail Lamp, new tyre hugger and fender, new muffler, stunning alloy wheel design. The engine also gets new clothes but no changes in the motor itself. Split seat is added for more sportier looks. You just get the old face in the new Yamaha R15.

The big disappointment is its engine that is kept the very same as the outgoing Yamaha R15. It is the 150cc, liquid cooled, 4 valve affair that delivers top power of 17 PS at 8,500 rpm and top torque of 15 NM at 7500 rpm. The bike has been put on sale with three colours including racing blue, midnight black and sunset red.
